Born in Santa Monica, California, Susan got her start doing guest appearances on Ironside, Gunsmoke, and Julia before being signed to play "Cindy Brady" on The Brady Bunch. 

     From 1969 to 1995, Susan's acting career focused around playing her alter-ego "Cindy Brady" in everything from the cartoon series to the variety show to the made-for-television movies to the second series. 

     Susan appeared in the series Pacific Blue in 1999 and most recently appeared on the CBS soap opera The Young and the Restless. 

     In 2009 Susan and co-authors Ted Nichelson and Lisa Sutton released the book Love to Love You Bradys, which focused on The Brady Bunch Variety Hour.
